Co-feature to Catterall vs. Eubank at the Manchester Arena on July fifth, airing live on DAZN. The vacant WBO Global lightweight title will be at stake. Both men have 17-1 professional records. Both were stopped in their lone defeat - Cordina by Anthony Cacace, a fellow Brit (a Northern Irelander, specifically) and González by Héctor García Dolores, a fellow Mexican. Honestly on paper a pretty big mismatch in experience and class, but should provide vastly greater entertainment while it lasts than will the dreadful chore of a main event.
Jaret Horacio González Quiroz vs. Aaron Roberto Garibay Márquez: This content is protected (it was difficult to even scrounge up this much footage...stumbled upon it by trying his first name & moniker as keywords. Google keeps thinking I'm looking for Jarrett Hurd vs. Johan González ) Joe Cordina vs. Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov: This content is protected
Cordina ain't no scrub and he isn't going to lose to some random Mexican nobody. It takes badass like Anthony Cacace to take him out, and that was a severely weight drained version of him. Cordina is going to hit Jaret so hard, he'll start spelling his first name with two R's, the way it should be. I doubt he sees round 5.
