Josesito Lopez is really a 140 pounder. Now he can demand fights there where he is not at such a disadvantage. This to me would be one hell of a fight. Possibly the best at 140. Who takes this and why?
Really? Do you think he hits harder than Ortiz? Ortiz landed some big bombs in that fight and he was not able to really hurt Lopez. Also Ortiz is much bigger than Matthyse which makes Lopez alot bigger than Matthyse. The leverage on the punches Lopez was throwing was huge.
I really want to see Lopez vs Judah, he is tailored made for a Zab Judah highlight reel Knockout . He reminds me of Verno Paris same kind of defense and body posture, except for the fact that Lopez is more careless with his offense. Lopez made a fan of me tonight, I never saw him fight before but he showed heart and took the fight out of the judges cards. I had him winning the fight! Not only did he beat Victor and make him quit but hes also forced Alvarez to fight an actual 154 fighter! Alvarez is getting far too complacent fighting welterweights (Hatton, Gomez, Mosley, Ortiz) and maybe now he will have to fight Esrindsy Lara unless they give into fight James Kirkland which in my eyes is the easier fight However Lucas Mathysse is a fighter who should have been crowned world champion by now, he beat Judah and Alexander and should finally deserve some credit. Id like to see him V Maidana but all in all I think Mathysse could stop him in a thrilling fight
