The only 154 fighters he has fought are Ryan Rhodes and Kermit Cintron Cintron was coming off 1 win over a bum and 2 losses. 1 of those losses came to a guy who ended up fighting in an eliminator for the WBC title despite beating Kermit 4 months previously As for Rhodes he has been around 154-160 for quite some time, in fact id say its about 15-16 years and hasnt beaten anyone at world level I actually liked Canelo when i first heard of him, I was impressed he had so many wins at such a young age but he hasnt fought anyone at 154 world level despite being the champion and avoiding his mandatory like the plague but he will be given a pass by the WBC for being mexican and a big money maker Also at 154 you have Austin Trout Cornelius Bundrage Miguel Cotto Erislandy Lara James Kirkland Carlos Molina All of which are better than anyone Canelo has fought
