Josh Barnett On Dana White: “He’s A Hindrance

Barnett doesn't really make much of a point when he tries to dismiss Danas role.

However, his remarks about Dana always trying to bring everyone down to further his stables own standing is spot on.

Barnett will propel himself back up the rankings with this tourney I think. And he has a very good chance against any one of Fedor, Reem or Werdum, a very dangerous man is Barnett.

 

How has he justified his steroid abuse?

 

Glad someone else noticed, that was what I was trying to say in my post.

I don't think he come across as a tit per se, but he certainly seemed to have opinions that he couldn't back up.

 

Gotta love Barnett, anyone who takes that amount of steroids but still has love handles is ok by me. He is waffling here though, he didnt want that video played because white is pretty much on the money.

I give Barnett a great shout at winning this tourney but something tells me we might see Rogers pull off the upset.

White will always try to find a way to criticise anything un UFC and does so, hence him being so quiet on this tourney as there is nothing bad you can say about it. Well done SForce.

 

He is right, Dana is a sideshow & it's the fighters that really matter

 

josh was attacked, didn't really answer those attacks and went off on a point about dana. he also didnt close the door on the ufc.

 

I didnt see it like you guys I guess. My impression of it was Ariel was fishing for a quote from Josh insulting Dana. I like him but he always tries to play the school yard 'He said she said'' snitch bull****, proved by showing JB the vid of Dana's quote. Im not hating on Ariel, that's his job and he's good at it
Josh showed class to rise above it, even if he did waffle on a bit. That's how I saw it anyway

 

I actually think Barnett is a pretty classy guy. Maybe that's why he seemed to stumble searching for his point, because he didn't really want to play Danas game.

 

Ive always liked Barnett, comes across really well in interviews. It's a shame the steroids have damaged his credibility somewhat

 

There's nobody in the UFC who have failed three tests though and are ducking getting relicensed in California.

 

Well just in terms of this thread both Achillies & Hooch brought it up, so it will always be an issue to discredit him, though Im not accusing them of doing that in this thread in particular. I guess I was thinking along the similar lines of your finger pointing comment.
The way I look at it, I wouldnt be surprised if some crazy figure like 90 per cent of fighters, were shall we say pushing the boundaries of legality while using PED's. It would be naieve to think only Barnett is doing it aswell, just because he was caught. So my point was JB always has some interesting things to say imo & it's a shame that the steroid thing will always be used as a stick to beat him with and you alluded to this too

 

Let's use Ken Shamrock as an example. His brother said he was juicing through out his career and I think even Ken has admitted it.
Yet he never to my knowledge failed a test in the UFC
