slow down there junior its nice your excited about a great heavyweight prospect BUT right now rogers is still fairly inexperienced and would get twisted like a pretzel by barnett in the first round. barnett or fedor or even lesnar wouldnt make arlovski's mistake keeping the fight standing they would all twist him up and probably sub him in the first round

yeah but saying he could beat barnett or fedor???those are the top two heavies in mma by far. its not even a guarentee that they could beat each other convincingly. and i agree that rogers is a top ten heavyweight but towards the bottom of the top 10 somewhere maybe 7-10 id say right now honestly and it is because of unknowns like rogers ground game i would say fedor, barnett, lesnar, mir, nog, werdum and overeem are all ahead of him right now

Barnett takes him down and slaps a kimura on his arse in the first.

I think that sums up Rogers' chances rather nicely.

I am one of the few that predicted Rogers' KO of Arlovski - but it was essentially due to Arlovski's propensity to try to bang with guys that are larger than him and the fact that he has a china chin. Rogers was the wrong opponent at the right time. The elite heavyweights like Barnett and Fedor would never stand and trade with a heavy handed opponent such as Bret the Grim.

you say that like overeem is some bum that rogers is gonna walk all over when infact he is a pretty damn good seasoned vet who in his own right is more than capable of providing a highlight knockout with his own tools. i dont think overeem is gonna be to intimidated by the grimm. it should be a great fight though

Overeem is an accomplished striker but his chin is hardly the stuff of legends. That being said id definity expect a sub like the guillotine from Overeem as that big galoot rushes in.
