Who do you guys think is the better LHW prospect from the UK, with a better future. Buatsi clearly has the much more accomplished and esteemed amateur pedigree, winning olympic bronze, dropping Cuba's La Cruz, and beating Ukraine's Khyzhniak on points and also KO'ing Uzbek Elshod Rasulov. He is clearly the more skilled, polished, and technically sound fighter between the two and has leagues more experience against MUCH better competition and against many more different styles. For all the heat Yarde gets he is an EXTREMELY gifted fighter, athlete, and physical specimen and I think edges Buatsi in all those areas. Regardless, they are both promising prospects with Buatsi further along in his development and with imo the higher "floor" whereas Yarde -- to me -- has the higher ceiling of the two but is much more of a long shot at actually reaching his potential/peak.

So, to the Brits, Euros, nd other posters familiar with the two -- who will, A - have the better overall career when all is said and done and who will, B - end up the better fighter in their respective peaks.

Buatsi for me - he looks like a more complete fighter. Yarde is too much of a poser and is too easy to hit from what I've seen thus far.

Buatsi on both counts. Not even close.
Yarde is being overly protected for a reason - usually a china chin. I expect him to struggle as soon as he faces a live opponent.

Appreciate the input fellas and agree wholeheartedly. And again, I agree, I too think he has a china chin and you can get a good read on that by how he has been matched and the fact that he is very "loose" and irresponsible defensively, doesnt have very good footwork, is off balance semi regularly, is sub par in regards to ring generalship and ring IQ, and probably doesnt have the anticipation, vision, and awareness necessary to see a fighters return fighter due to his minimal AM career and experience. Unbelievable natural toolset to work with though, imagine if he had started boxing and competing at a young age? Possible great.

Buatsi looks like he could be the complete fighter and he’ll need to be if he’s gonna compete at world level in such a tough division. Yarde’s slow progress makes him very suspect! Will be interesting to see what happens when he fights Amar next month.

Buatsi easy. He already judges distance better than Yarde

Well it's not Anthony "only because Frank Warren is a total G am i ranked in the top 10" Yarde.

Buatsi looks to be pretty complete fighter.

Yarde is a posing body builder with a very annoying trainer.

Buatsi. Yarde has talent and is the bigger LHW but all of his opponents are so feather fisted they couldn't wobble an old lady if they jumped her. Buatsi hasn't fought any punchers yet either but, as said, at least he did something in the amateurs to prove his worth. Even Yarde's next opponent and big step up (ie. he's finally facing someone with a pulse) Medhi Amar is a non puncher.

Yarde has zero head movement. If and when he steps up to an opponent with a pulse, he will pay for the flaw

I think Buatsi will be appreciated by the UK boxing fans in a similar way to Nigel Benn by the time he is done. Hopefully Yarde sorts himself out and can be Buatsi's Eubank
