Cruz is ok but loses everytime he steps up. I think he lost to Sharmba Mitchell recently, and Mitchell is way past his best. Clottey will win but the fight might be decent. Foreman, ouch, painful to watch and it doesn't matter who he fights. I'll be rooting against him so hopefully he gets off the airwaves. I've seen Roman once so I can't make an accurate prediction, but from what I know Foreman by decision in a painfully boring bout.
Foreman's last bout was fun. He's a young kid, I like him. Never will be a top fighter but he's not bad.
I've seen Foreman three times. Thompson, his last bout on Vs(can't recall the opponent),and one more. I've found all three fights to be boring. The Thompson bout was painful and I thought Foreman was the one largely responsible for it. He just seems content to win on points and has no desire to make the fight entertaining. He's not a bad fighter just not someone I care to watch. Ironically, I'll watch his fight tomorrow.
I see Clottey winning this fight and doing it convincingly. I'm hoping that Clottey gets a title shot if he wins his next fight, he really deserves it.
I thougt it was better than the Thompson fight but still nothing much. I can't recall the name of that opponent but he's a fun fighter to watch and the fight still left me disinterested. Yeah, he's not a bad fighter and obviously I have nothing personal against him. I'm just not a fan of his fights.
Why wouldnt you like Yuri? And his last fight was exciting if you like "boxing" I can see if someone doesnt like him based on his performance against Anthony Thompson, but he looked great against other guys i hope he will do great tomorrow
I can't believe sportsbooks made Foreman only a 2 to 1 favorite. If Ouma was even a little bit motivated for his fight against Saul Roman last year he would have blown him out early. Roman is a C level fighter with a glass chin, but he has some real punching power and Foreman seems like someone who might have chin problems. Yuri is nothing special as far as prospects go, but he has solid enough skills to beat Roman easily. There is a very good chance Foreman wins by stoppage too. I think his punching power is a little better than his record indicates and although he doesn't go for the KO win, the stoppage will probably come, especially if the inconsistent Roman doesn't show up at his best. Foreman's last two opponents would beat Roman easily too.
I agree tsurkan and Thompson would probably beat easily Roman, and probably most of the upcoming prospects.Tsurkan has a fight coming up against Jessy Feliciano, he should win that one
His last bout was against Andrey Tsurkan, who might be one of the most exciting fighters in boxing, yet the fight managed to be just 'meh'. I can't say I'm a fan of Foreman, and he's extremely lucky to have gotten out of his last two fights without a loss, as I thought he lost both of those. Cruz has good power, a decent workrate and okay accuracy, but his defense is leaky, and he doesn't have much quickness.
Given a Forman win he will fight for a belt soon it's not a bad card tonight but usually yeah it's bad at VS.
Clottey looking kind of sluggish tonight....seems like he's trying to do his best Edison Miranda impression....
