    Round 1 - 10-8 Ramirez
    Round 2 - 10-9 Ramirez
Round 3 - Ramirez TKO with a body shot

Why in the worid did the ref stop it instead of give a count.

    Round 1 Ramirez 10-8
    Round 2 Ramirez 10-9
Round 3 Ramirez wins by TKO

Eric throwing a lot, but most being caught on Ramirez's glove. Eric going to the body, giving RR openings, he lands a looping hook to the head, Donovan goes quasi limp along the ropes, then turns and wobbles off, the ref jumps in quickly and stops it, it was the right call.

And that's exactly why I switched. Donovan drained himself down to Featherweight from his normal divisions Super Featherweight and Lightweight, at the age of 36, and he was frail in those divisions. He pulled a Kell Brook-Bud Crawford tonight. Most guys that old, should never attempt that, if they aren't Nonito Donaire that is.

In what area? He is pretty solid. I love that outside slip, counter left hand. Great footwork like most high level Cubans and Excellent defensive skill. I want to see him step up sooner than later.

It's weird how these unbeatable Cuban amateurs become these just OK pros.

You are all saying he's "just OK". And I see a very good fighter. What am I missing?

Brook looks like an almighty burden has been lifted off his soul. Nice to see.

Robeisy Ramirez 28 y/o, 2 x gold medalist, 400-30 (roughly) as an amateur, 9-1 as a pro, lost to a janitor with gout on his pro debut

Loma was a two-weight world champion by the time he was 7-0, the fastest ever

They all try and be Loma but none of them can actually be Loma

That's what I, aka Serge, am talking about

    Real talk

    It is what it is

    It is what isn't

He certainly isn't unbeatable but he is a very technically sound fighter as are most of the high end Cubans from their national program. We shall see if he pans out.

For a two time gold medalist, where it was crazy that Stevenson even took a round off him, this all seems like a step back.

Obviously compared to the average of all pros he is very good, but there was hope for more.

Josh Taylor to KO Jack Catterall inside 3 rounds with multiple knockdowns, with only Jack Catterall eating canvas. Should it go any further, it's only because Josh Taylor has allowed it to go on. Either way it ends in a one-sided KO. They are friends outside the ring, so maybe Josh Taylor won't want to make Jack Catterall look "really bad" but he will want to be exceptional himself so I can't see him going easy on Jack Catterall at all.

Jack Catterall does not belong in the ring with ANY undisputed champion, let alone a worthy one in Josh Taylor AND let alone a champion in the division at 140. However, somehow Jack Catterall was the mandatory, so I guess the fight had to happen. I would probably rate Jack Catterall somewhere between number 11 to 20 in the division so him being made a mandatory is a baffling verdict to me. The governing bodies are strange entities at the best of times.

At 140 I would much rather see Josh Taylor rematch Regis Progais, who is wasting his time fighting tomato cans, his last 3 fights since Josh Taylor have been against undeserving opponents, or take on Jose Zepeda or Subriel Matias. Any one of those fights would be thrilling.
