Josh James William Taylor vs. Jack Catterall & Robeisy Ramirez vs. Eric Donovan RBR.

I’m a big fan of Josh Taylor I think he’s a brilliant fighter but he’s an extremely lucky boy tonight

He looked flat, tense and was forcing everything from the first bell in comparison to Catterall who was relaxed and razor sharp

Now whilst it is absolutely criminal for some judge to have it to Taylor by 3 rounds (what the ****), I did think the score cards would be strange. I had it 6-2 to Catterall after 8 rounds and for me Taylor definitely won at least 3 of the last 4 rounds.

Froch has just come out on Twitter and said -
“If you go on survival mode for the last four rounds of a World Title fight, the judges do not like it. Especially when you’re the challenger. Opportunity gone!”

And I think he’s made a point worth thinking about there. Taylor started pressing forward in those championship rounds and Catterall wasn’t stamping home his authority.

Either way, it can be dressed up any which way you like but the Chorley man should’ve been leaving Glasgow with all the belts.

That was not the Josh Taylor I know, he looked completely flat and off it…. Needs to go move up in weight.

 

Taylor doesn’t come out of it looking good but you have to give a fighter the benefit of the doubt with comments after 36 mins of punches to the head.

 

Taylor says he started slow and took over in the second half of the fight? Which half of the fight was the 10-8?
This would’ve changed Catteralls life it’s utter bollocks

 

But he decked the champ and the champ lost a point. Jack had ZERO chance of victory ad the fight was rigg3d the moment it got signed.

This is no incompetence as even Stevie Wonder could see Catterall won this fight by AT LEAST 5 rounds.

A very dark day for boxing and the three clowns judging the fight will carry on unabated and deprive many more fighters of well deserved wins.

thats almost suggesting they rip up their cards and start again at the final bell. If they scored each round impartially it makes no difference.

There was one world class performer in the ring tonight and it wasn't Taylor.

 

I thought that Ben Shalom spoke very well at ringside and fingers crossed, there will be 3 Ringside Judges picking up their P45s early next week.

Why oh why can we not have recently retired Pros as the ringside judges?

 

I will never get behind him.No matter how good he might be he is a horrible human being
