I'm sceptic about him being "taken ill overnight". When it sounds like bullşhit it usually is bullşhit. He can't be that ill if they were still willing to stick him in for 10 rounds instead of 12. I think being weight drained, or simply just not firing on all cylinders is more likely IMO. Whatever the reason, they clearly thought Kelly had a chance of losing tonight, and they've §hat it and basically spoiled the whole card.

They all have different rules. Should be a little information tab or button somewhere.

Carrol goes on like he is some sort of killer but his record suggests he has no power. Whats the score with him and his deformed bicep?

Shafted a lot of fans who have spent hard earned money during Christmas month. Totally unacceptable.

I agree, i think he wasnt 100% they went to weigh in saw his opponent and then thought we need to cut this fight to 8-10 roounds. When Booth tried getting the fight shortened to 8-10 rounds and it was declined this fight by the BBBoC, surprise surprise they pulled out. I real **** take to the fans FFS

If he's ill he's ill. Fight is being rescheduled. If he'd bottled it why would they bother doing that.

He’s bottled it tonight because he’s not prepped well for it. Making weight and training is part of the fight too. If we accept fighters pulling out because of a tough weight cut we’d barely have any fights. Bellew used to kill himself to make weight at LHW, always got in there and fought though. If Kelly can’t make weight properly then move up.

Has Kelly had weight problems in the past?
He always seems in tip top condition.

Generally fighters don't pull out of fights at the 11th hour unless it's absolutely necessary. Why put yourself through camp? Kelly won't get paid anything for this fight, he'll have paid out a load of money in training camp expenses, and he's been away from his new-born son for weeks. It seems ridiculous that he'd go through all of that and then not fight. Also, if he does have a bad virus, it's dangerous to fight. Fighters are dehydrated enough in the lead up to a fight without a bad cold making things worse. Look, you can believe what you want to believe, but if, as seems very likely, the fight is being remade for the New Year, it makes no sense why he'd pull out given the reasons I've cited above.

Why don’t you read what Neil Marsh has tweeted which has been retweeted by Avanesyan? If Kelly is so ill then why was Booth willing to put him in for a 10-rounder? It’s a bottle job pure and simple but bury your head in the sand if you want.

Remember when Fury was due to box Ustinov but pulled out when he saw that Ustinov had trained hard? Fury would beat the bricks out of Ustinov any day but bottled it THAT NIGHT.

Just because Kelly is willing to box Avanesyan next year doesn’t detract from the fact that he bottled it TONIGHT.

    It’s not hard to understand.

Has Booth spoken yet? All theory, but Booth strikes me as a trainer that would be more willing than most to pull a fighter out if he felt his man wasn't in safe or appropriate fighting condition. He doesn't take crop. He's paid to do a job and primarily that's to ensure the health and safety of his man. Possible that Kelly isn't was willing to go but advised (or told) otherwise?

All that Booth has done is retweet Kelly’s statement. Bottom line is that Booth first tried to change it to a 10-rounder and then pulled out Kelly. Only an idiot would believe the “illness” excuse.
