Benn makes a good point on twitter saying that Kelly pulling out of the Avanesyan fight and not wanting the Robinson rematch says a lot about him as a character.. Kelly is levels above him but would make an entertaining enough scrap IMO
Not really, kelly obviously cut corners making weight for the David A fight and was dead at the weight so them pulling him out made sense and nobody will ever look good against Robinson so why bother with the rematch
Josh Kelly is extremely annoying to watch. He thinks he’s Naz, but he’s got zero punch power and very little snap. After all the showboating, I was actually cheering for Robinson to lay him out on the AJ undercard. Having said that, there is a massive skill gap and he will more than likely make Benn look silly and possibly stop him late on.
Yep. Benn showed what he's made of in taking the Peynaud rematch which could have ended up in embarrassment and he showed pure balls in his last fight against a solid opponent. Meanwhile Kelly pulled out against Avanesyan after Booth initially tried to reduce the number of rounds and also won't dare go near Robinson again. Sure there's a massive skill gap between the two but there also seems to be a massive heart gap too.
Its a closer fight than some are making out in my eyes. I wouldn't back Benn but I also don't think Kelly has the power to trouble Benn or beat him up as some are saying. Benn will have to sit on his chest and throw from everywhere. If the going got tough you would have to favour Benn's set of balls over Kelly's.
