The Kelly fight was a complete waste of space and only the British Title Fight was any good on a very poor card.

 

Not after the events post Benn v Eubank. I've lost all interest in seeing Benn fight again, think he's poison for the sport and indeed have abandoned my DAZN subscription and won't be attending or buying any Matchroom shows for the foreseeable future. There's been plenty of dodgy dealings in boxing over the years I've been able to turn a blind eye to, but the behaviour of Benn, his team and those around them who should've known better has really stuck in my throat!

 

Agreed. I had few illusions but the realisation that they felt zero responsibility to even pay lip service to protecting what little integrity remained in the sport was a genuine surprise. Obviously they've done their calculations and feel they can live without the revenue from those like ourselves, so be it.

What a hard watch

Just jerking and jiving about,for no reason at all,when his man appeared there for the taking.

Prancing about is sweet when you feel confident and you're in there with a world beater, but at that level it is a hard watch, another s**t night of boxing in the UK, except for the Dillon fight

Been watching a channel on YT lately that puts on loads of oldschool british fights and compare that to now and you realise how much of a s**t state british pro boxing,and world boxing is in general

Much better off following your local Am gyms and others from around the country/world etc, as to me by and large pro boxing is a mockery at the minute

 

I'd like to see Kelly v Eggington, he'd be forced to fight then as Sam would thrown the kitchen sink at him.

 

I went to bed yesterday after 5 rounds Josh Kelly boxed uninspired and seemed indifferent to his own performance. Strange - especially considering he gained worldwide exposure through DAZN.
