Good fight, should tell us a lot about Kelly. Interested to see how he performs under the big lights.
Is anyone else surprised that this fight is happening, especially given the what occurred in the Avanesyan fight? Robinson is a few levels above anything that Kelly has faced before, buried about 5 fights deep on the undercard. Robinson has mixed it at Wolrd level and isn't a mug, he also looked in great nick. There has been no hype, Kelly looked shocking last time and can't be getting paid much. Looks like a huge banana skin to me. I really don't rate Kelly for what it is worth - horrible lateral flashy style, without any power and easy to hit. Looks really gaunt at the weight again to boot.
I'm unimpressed by Kelly again. He doesn't do it for me tbh. More worried about looking flashy than actually landing good scoring punches. Reminds me of a flashy footballer doing skills in his own half with nobody around him. Pointless and frustrating. Go and try hurt the opppnent and only use those skills when it's necessary. Not like he's fighting world class opposition.
Kelly looked like a broken Mayweather prototype, that loma comparison he got early in his carreer is well gone now lol. He needs to change something and stay away from dangerous fighters for a while.
He has zero substance, I’m not impressed by him in the slightest - that’s at least 2 fights in a row when he has been utter gash. Eddie may as well do the Connor Benn fight next- I thought Young Benn was going to be well out of depth when he started calling for the fight, but now I’m not so sure.
Adam Booth seems to escape criticism. I hate the style Kelly fights - way too much lateral movement and a lot of the that is the stamp of a Booth fighter. Kelly barely threw a jab and was completely faded after 4 rounds.
