This is why the guys career is tanking. Not taking it seriously.
Too busy modelling crap clothes.
Doesn't look good that he didn't want the fight at 154. He should have no problem making that weight.
After his loss to Eubank, Liam Williams claimed he was left on his own for making weight.
Yeah he stopped short of giving out about Booth but he did say that Ingle have a team to take you through the weight cut where as with Booth they don’t do that.
Booth has to have concerns with Kelly fighting people his own size at 154 as after the last fight the obvious move was to move up.
At this point it feels like he's playing boxing, he's not living the life and he's making stupid career choices in terms of his boxing.
Doesn’t surprise me. I’ve heard that Williams had upwards of a stone to lose in the days up to the Eubank fight - explains why he was getting dropped by jabs.
Conlan has looked dreadful on the scales a few times too.
Its a shame because I thought he could have been a special fighter. His draw in America made me question it and his loss to Avanesyan made me think he isn't as good as I thought.
Josh should have woken up by now and tried to get his career back on track. Eddie hearn dropped him and doesn't seem to be worried about it.
I hope I'm wrong but something doesn't seem right .
According to Kelly be turned Hearn down.
I remember on here years ago there was a discussion as to who was the better prospect out of the two Josh's, Taylor or Kelly.
Well, now they are no longer prospects, I'm going to take a wild guess and say Taylor... but it's a tough one to call
Here's a question, Provided that Kelly fully commits to boxing and doesn't take any shortcuts, which current trainer would get the best out of him?
I think Shane McGuigan would be a good fit for him.
Kelly doesn't have much power but he'd at least get him using his skills and make him more energy conservative. I think that's a major thing with him, he uses up so much useless energy looking flash and not being effective.
He’s not fit/conditioned enough to fight the way he wants for 12 rounds and when 140lber’s like winston campos can walk through you after throwing the kitchen sink at them you’re up **** street at higher weights.
That's exactly who I had in mind. Booth fighters always look great in the first half of the fight, but tend to fade.
