Interesting fight that! I haven't seen enough of Josh Leather to pass comment but I hear he was a decent amateur. Seems to lack power though...

Romeo has talent. He's similar to Eubank jr in that he's burst on the scene with exposure and strong criticism from fans who don't rate him but like jr he will change opinions within the next 2,3 years.

If Romeo cuts out the fancy stuff he can do ok win an area title that's as far as he will go imo

should be a 10 rounder if both undefeated, dont want to lose your 0 in a 6 rounder.

Can't stand this Romeo o Romeo dude, and he's not even that good either. Good that to finally get to see him eat some Leather.

Why is he rated above Leather anyway while he only has guys with losing records on his resume? :blood

I was surprised to see Romeo stopped Michael Mooney last time out , yes Mooney has a losing record - but I've watched him a good few times & believe me now , an awful lot of his 15 losses have been dubious to say the least.

He was in a good match up with Ben Wager which doubled as an English eliminatior...

And to see Romeo moved upto LWW and stopped his not not a bad achievement all things considered.

Leather has already beaten a couple of decent kids in Tommy Carus and Fergus Taylor. Seems to want to test himself early on and that's how all prospects should be. Knocking over tin cans for 15+ fights cannot bring you on in the slightest. Credit to Romaeo for taking this fight aswell.

Spot on. I was at ponds forge in Sheffield when Mooney sparked out highly rated Ingle prospect Sam O'Maison in 2 rounds. He's not bad at all and I was impressed with Romaeo stopping him.
