Crawford and Spence don't deserve the opportunity to dance with a fearless Brit Level warrior like Taylor. What he's achieved in just 18 fights puts both their careers to shame. He's unified an entire division whereas neither of them even won a world title until their 23rd and 22nd fights. He's been lion hunting from the get-go whereas they've been too busy playing the barking dogs either side of the gate game with each other instead of stepping up to the plate to give the fans what the want and have long been clamouring for. Spence is huge for the weight and could've moved up to 154 years ago if unification match ups were eluding him. That's what Loma did twice even though he's a natural 126 pounder and is much better suited to that weight class. If Spence moved up to 154, as with Crawford when he moved up to 140 and 147, he would still be big for that weight or roughly the same size as most other 154 pounders.

It's shameful Crawford vs Spence hasn't been made and the fact that it's taken an inactive geriatric near 43 y/o senior citizen semi-retired senator from the Philippines to show them how it's done it's a huge stain on both of them.

Taylor needs to hang up his gloves and be done with the sport because it's full of pretenders and contenders who wanna be champs but as soon as they become so they morph into pretenders. In fact, I'm done with the sport for good myself. Sayonara.

The Welterweight division is a joke. It is the epitome of what is wrong with boxing today.

Don't get me wrong. There are some talented fighters there, but there's no real move to sort out who the best welterweight is.

This era of welterweight is more about missed opportunities than great, legacy defining fights.
