Who was polstol? His defining win was stopping a washed up lucas mattyhsee. And crawford didnt end him, the fight went the distance. In fact crawford tried to stop postol but ended up getting cracked so he had to coast the last few rounds. We have seen crawford cracked and wobbled in almost every fight he's been in actually. 5'3 gamboa had him on ice skates.
I'm racist against my own race? are you nuts? kambosos is limited AS ****. And anyone who knows **** about boxing can see it. You dont need to be a racist to see that, man. You only need one eye. Teo gave the first half of the fight for free because he is idiot, and he gave the last two rounds for free because he thought he won all rounds but 2 (yes, he's THAT idiot). But the fight was even in round 10, had teo fought a normal fight kambosos would have had zero chances. Kambosos is not even a hard hitter, ffs, part of the 1st round KD is because teo is partly offbalance (look at the replay, his back foot is positioned like crap and in the middle of the air, it gets twisted and that's why he falls, good punch though, but had he been well positioned he wouldnt have fallen down), look at kambosos record, he's not a heavy hitter. Actually, if you look at the replay, you can pay attention and see that the first thing happening after the 10 seconds count is kambosos connecting his best puch clean as F in the middle of teo's face, and teo doesnt even blink. He was clearly not hurt at all. Had teo fought a serious fight kambosos wouldnt have had even the puncher's chance. Every single guy playing the racist card in this forum, ffs. Where are you when I'm rooting hardcore for povetkin? when I'm celebrating kiko's kos? or defending vlad as an atg against all those idiots who cant understand what they see in the ring? ni-ni-ni-ni-ni-ni racist ni-ni-ni.... Amazing how childish a grown man can be sometimes.... ridiculous.
postol was considered p4p in this very forum by a lot of people after mathysse's fight. Just in case you dont remember it well. I remember it very well because people called me racist for saying that he was a mediocre fighter (way worse than taylor, who actually is a good fighter, just not p4p). What's funny is that, if I'm right, the same people calling me racist or fool (as they did when I defended that postol was a mediocre fighter), will be the same people asking "who's taylor" in 5 years from now. And I repeat that I like taylor, he's likable, and anti-lockdowns. But it has nothing to do with my opinion about his boxing. I dont see p4p worthy boxing skills there. I see a good fighter, though, but not p4p as people here say. I cant stand Ali, he was garbage as a person, a true POS, so what? do I say that he couldnt box? I know how to separate the persona from the boxing skills he has. And I repeat that if taylor goes up to welter and proves me wrong beating every elite fighter in there, I'll gladly give him his props the same way I give his props to froch after proving me not only wrong, but extremelly wrong.
Results like tonight are why many don't rush to annoint greatness before it's proven. Credit to Taylor for the fight anyone anytime mentality and following through.
Taylor's personality doesn't really help his case. After the Ramirez win he kept crying about how close the scorecards were, a rare case of a sore winner. And now that he's robbed Jack Catterall, he's refusing to give him a rematch. Not to mention, outside of boxing he seems like quite a dry character. And then there's also the case of his style being quite ugly to watch. He's a pretty dirty fighter, he likes his elbows and rabbit punches a lot. It's not exactly a casual-friendly style.
Taylor is a good fighter but he's not some atg. He's went life and death with prograis a fighter we still don't know how good he is and lost to cat a guy he was expected to clown. He needs to go back to boxing instead loading up trying to knock guys out. He's at his best when he boxes he looked lost tonight and got a gift. Hopefully he can learn from this and get back to work.
Taylor was beaten to the punch and Jake got the better of him. You could see it on Josh's face everytime he got tagged with the straight left or body rip, 1 + 2 southpaw combo. The only heavy shots of Josh's were from the close range or hooks on seperation. He couldn't land anything impactful from the outside. All this after the big talk pre fight on that sky program. He should be embarrassed.
