I was very, very impressed with Taylor. He was stuck to Prograis like fly on poop. Didn't give Prince any time to think or set his feet or set up his shots. What a motor!
The pushing with his weight had to be part of his strategy. His output was just enough to keep Prograis from getting in rhythm. If you let Prograis stalk you, thats when he hurts you. He kind of showed that in the last 3 rounds. I was pulling for Regis but was still proud of that performance. Taylor put on a great show.
What a proud day for ITF Taekwon-Do community as one of our black belt practitioner become unified boxing world champion ! I always know from his TKD and amateur boxing days, he is special and will do great things.
Boy done good.Given the pressure on him as a talented,green fighter had he lost it would of set his career back Some I’d imagine?
