Taylor would have beaten the Tzyu that Hatton beat. Taylor is clearly very professional, doesn't cut corners and is fully focused. He's also become an incredibly ruthless and spiteful fighter, the way he dropped Ramirez proved that, if there was any doubt. I don't want to sound like I'm getting caught up in it all and carried away but we're witnessing something very special here and I'm enjoying it.

I don’t know enough about Berg to comment but certainly in the modern era you could argue he has already done enough to warrant the number one spot. I would say that Hatton’s win over Tszyu is still the best win of any modern LWW.

However, Taylor’s run is as impressive of anything Hatton ever strung together, and certainly if you were ranking wins at LWW you’d say Taylor has 3/4 of the top 5 even if Hatton has the number one. Khan’s win against Maidana and his own light-welter run was impressive too but losses against Peterson and Garcia drop his resume, despite Maidana, Judah (past prime), Kotelnik and Malinagi being a really good run.

Whilst the division isn’t packed at the moment, one or two defences of the undisputed title definitely puts Josh ahead of the others.

Yes. He'd have absolutely beat the **** out of Khan . Taylor is the far better overall package and all of Khans flaws would show, he'd drown in a bad beatdown

My reaction straight away but Taylor is already up there with Jack having won two landmark fights.
Comparing the number of fights they had to get to World level is a historical thing and no fault of Taylor's.

Pretty impressive to consider that Taylor's last 5 fights:-

    136-1

Even more impessive is that 1, was Viktor Postol's loss to P4P top 3 Bud Crawford.
