More powerful, at times it looked like Naseem v McCullough.

Taylor could not put pressure more than 20 seconds in each round

Pressure kills Lopez and anyone decent at 140 with pressure will have a good fight against him.

Yes, Loma won the last few rounds of their clash putting pressure on.

I don't think pressure is a good idea against Teofimo because of his speed and power. Lomachenko is special so he could sustain it for rounds but otherwise it is not a good strategy.

IMO Lopez looked far worse against Martin.

I don't see it that way.

Lopez kept him on the outside due to his powerful counters. Lopez was right in front of him for much of the fight, it's not like he was running or being evasive, it's just when Taylor did press he got caught. The commentary team said it early on, he was getting caught with left hook counters, because Taylor leaves his lead hand low. Prograis couldn't discourage Taylor coming in because he couldn't hurt Taylor, but Lopez could and when a fighter is hurting you with punches when you throw, it makes you wary to throw because you know what's coming back is worse.

Then later in the fight, Lopez started finding a home for his right hand and uppercuts and that's when it dawned on Taylor he was in trouble and he just looked completely lost in times in there because he didn't know what to do, didn't know how to adjust and adapt. This from a supposedly top 5 P4P fighter according to some prior to the Catterall fight. Fact is Taylor was always a deeply flawed fighter who preyed on a weak division and the two good out boxers he's fought, schooled him.

He's only 32, only had 20 fights, if he's shot then he's taken the least amount of punishment to become a shot fighter in history.
