Josh Taylor is the guy to beat Crawford at 140

Taylor looked good, but O'hara looked super one dimensional. It was unfortunate I could not see the fight live. Tried to youtube it and not see the result, but the first freaking result was "Josh Taylor TKO's Davies", can't stand scum who post spoilers like that. O'hara reminds me of that kid you played video games with that spammed the same move over and over again. When the spam didn't work anymore, they did not know how to change it up, so they continued to just spam. Davies was just swinging power shots the whole time. He did not change the speed of his punches, he rarely went to the body, and was mostly loading up on right hands. Davies seems to have power, great reach, and is athletic, but his ring IQ is extremely low.

 

Taylor will never be on Crawford's level. The OP started this thread because I like Crawford, lol. The OP thinks that I'm a dentist too lol. Crawford won't be at 140 in the next 2 months. And Taylor doesn't have the style to beat a top pure boxer.

Said it since day one that Taylor has the goods. An excellent fight and a good card too, I thought. He'll be the top guy at 140 soon, not sure a Crawford fight would ever happen at 140, if you consider their career trajectories.

To the topic, people tend to get carried away in praising a fighter after he wins. To say he can possibly beat Terence Crawford is a massive statement. I didn't watch the fight so I can't say a thing, but Crawford is arguably P4P the best fighter today.

 

He needs to do more than beat a regional fighter like Davies before we can get really serious about this match up. With that said he did look very good in that fight.
