Crawford showed up and he dominated Burns, winning with scorecards of 116-112, 117-111, 116-112 in Glasgow, Scotland.

To put that in some perspective, in Burns' fight prior to facing Crawford, Beltran broke Burns' jaw early in their fight and got jobbed on a Split Draw in Glasgow -- with most sensible onlookers believing Ray to have done more than enough to get the nod over Burns.

Just another average UK fighter getting hyped beyond his abilities.

    Ooooh Boy...

Let the poor guy defend the Commonwealth belt, against maybe Burns and Catterall before he's "DESTROYING" the best fighter in the world.

As an aficionado in average UK fighters, he's above average.

It's time for Crawford to fight Thurman, anyone else, except Porter of Spence will not do, but Thurman is the one everyone wants to see fight Crawford...............

Not certain to me that Josh Taylor will beat Ricky Burns who has probably seen better days but Taylor against Terence Crawford is one way traffic and it won't be good or advisable for Taylor. I think his handlers are more realistic than that. Leave Crawford to the Welterweight top guys.

He'll definitely beat Burns right now. Needs time for Crawford though, he's not ready yet.

I said he has the style to beat Crawford, I also gave a bunch of reasons, not sure how that's hilarious...you didn't even say anything about how you thought I was hillarious or how you thoguht I was wrong. Great informative post!

Crawford is the #2 P4P, but I think at 140 Taylor could be the biggest threat to him.

UK fighters DO get hyped, I agree.

Did you watch this fight though? It was a special performance.

Yeah, maybe casuals fan like you wanna see Crawford-Thurman the most.

Crawford-Spence is possibly THE best fight in boxing to make.

I saw the Davies fight. And Taylor was indeed impressive, I'm not saying he doesn't have abilities.

But he damn sure doesn't have the ability to beat Crawford.

TC is better than Taylor at well.... every damn thing.

Taylor vs Lipinets is a good fight, and that's a fight Taylor could win.

Slow down people. 10-0 prospect vs P4P boxer. Nobody at 140 comes close to beating Crawford right now and he has the skills and IQ to give 147 a good clearing out too.

One TC moves up, Taylor will be one of many looking to make moves to top 140 division. Does Taylor have the ability? Yes. Does he need more fights and pro rounds? Yes. But of all the up and comers in 140, I think he's the most rounded and also has high IQ. If Taylor fulfils potential I could see him rule 140 in time. But beating TC is a whole other ball game. For the record I think Taylor is competitive with all other 140 right now but he hasn't been beyond 8 rnds yet.

Long term, I'd love Taylor-Prograis. And I pick Taylor.
