It is a bigger fight no doubt, but if its such a tougher fight than Catterall why was it such a competitive fight that most had him losing. And 2, why won't he rematch him.... If its such an easier fight. Its as clear as day to everybody, except Taylor supporters that Taylor is ducking the rematch.

    Josh Taylor:

“They've ordered me to fight Teofimo Lopez,” Taylor told Sky Sports. “It’s one I want to do, It's the only belt I’ve got left, the WBO, so I want to keep it. If I went and then fought Jack I'd be fighting him with no titles. I want to keep the title. They're all my belts, but I want to keep this one. Further on down the line, Jack and me can still fight. I don't know what's going to happen now. I definitely will [but] it's out of my control, it's not my fault the WBO got in touch.

“At the end of the day it's out of my control. This fight (Lopez) is a much bigger fight than the Catterall fight. It's a much bigger fight and it's a harder fight. He is a much higher caliber of opponent. He has been at a higher level. He's been in with better fighters. He's done the business and got the t-shirt. I think it's a better fight.”

“I have become undisputed, fighting on the road,” Taylor said. “To say I am afraid [of Catterall] is ridiculous. I just laugh. There was no one more than me who wanted to put this right. But this will happen.”

“The way him and his team are crying about it and moaning like little kids,” Taylor said of Catterall. “They’re moaning cry-babies, sore losers is what they are. I don't think Jack Catterall is going to go anywhere. He will get the chance to rectify it, but I highly doubt he is going to get near me.”

This guy along with Benn is one of the most unlikeable people in boxing right now. Delusional.

What happened to this guy? I haven't seen anyone fall from grace this fast in a while. When he became undisputed, he was a fan favorite. Fast forward a year and he's insufferable.

If he doesn't rematch Catterall, it's going to continue to haunt him.

I'm not mad at the fight because it is a big fight. That being said Taylor is a piece of ****.

With the brain the size of a peanut. He’d better hope Lopez isn’t bigger and tougher than Jack be sore Catteral beat Taylor last fight. I don’t care what the judges said. That was a robbery.

Still rooting for Taylor this time but let’s not blow up Teo into more than he is. He’s unproven at 140. That’s putting it mildly.

It's definitely a bigger fight. It's tougher in some ways, easier in others.

Catterall can do himself a favor and fight someone else instead of living off a robbery loss. It's one thing to be an established top fighter and suffer a robbery, but this isn't the case. Plenty of fights at 140 to be made for Jack.

All he had to do was say the first part, wanting to keep the belt and the WBO rules being out of his control, fight Catterall afterwards.
But then he had to go and say the rest.
    Very dumb.

Catterall has an awful spoiling and dirty style, I could care less if I ever see him fight again, while he probably did enough to win the fight - I’d much rather see a fight involving nearly anyone else in the division.
