A belt he should no longer posess in the first place.
maybe they should let Catterall and Puello fight for it next then?
Nope Puello will fight either Barroso or Davies for the vacant belt.
Firstly, Josh Taylor has zero right to hold any of the belts.
Secondly, Alberto Puello, who has zero right to be anywhere near a mandatory challenge position, somehow is made the mandatory challenger and then Josh Taylor being stripped of the title because he has not faced him.... this is almost as bad as the jack Catterall decision.
I cannot believe I am saying this but.... if anything just let Taylor hold on to it.
Or at least give it to Jack Catterall if anything.
Also, off the dome, here is a list of fighters that would make a much more deserved mandatory spot than the other guy whose name I already fogot;
Gary Antuanne Russell
It would be a disgrace if Catteral doesn't replace Taylor. Could happen cos Jack was WBO mandatory when he fought Taylor
The belt along with all the others should be held by Jack Catterall.
Josh can't make weight anymore without being drained
Why was he stripped? Don't (SUPER) champions have no mandatories
I don’t even get why he’s still at 140. He was already undisputed and crazy drained
Did they email it to somebody? Haney, maybe?
How much would moving up benefit him? He doesn't appear good enough to hang with the division's best.
We can't retroactively change decision, so that aside, this has no bearing on Taylor's status as THE Champion at 140.
Taylor’s good enough to beat most welterweights. Would also gain more fans being in one of the most popular divisions
Too easy to hit to fight welters and doesn`t have welter power.
How do you know he doesn’t have welterweight power if he’s never fought there
