I don't know but I think he went a bit offh e rails after the commonwealths , turned up to the first wsb fight looked terrible got his face smashed in and stopped and hasn't been heard from since

 

He got stopped on a cut becuase he let the guy repeatedly smash him in the face , pretty sure he got a standing 8 count to at some stage

 

All went downhill when mytrofanov smashed his face in, them Welsh dont takw losing well

 

Ya i think went into the wsb thinking he would have a few fights look good and get a great pro contract . That all disappeared when he got exposed

 

The boys been on the program for best part of a decade, he's obviously had enough. Think there's issues with his leaving though, folk writing his career off at this stage are very much jumping the gun in my opinion as he's a very talented kid.

 

Yes very talented but he withdrew for from the apb and has been sitting on his hands for the last year it's very weird

 

im sure when your in the gb squad you have to sign a contract that is pretty hard to get out of, maybe he is waiting for them to cancel it so he can turn over without having to pay back part of his funding??

 

This is correct mate, they want money off you if you wish to leave early.

 

well for irish boxers it isn't anyway, if they decide to go pro there funding just get stopped they don't get money upfront

also he was signed up to APB boxing if he was disillusioned with GB and wanted away but couldn't it made no sense to also pull out of APB boxing

he also never fought again after getting smashed once in the WSB when he could have still qualified for the Olympics, it makes no sense, his lack of activity will only turn off promoters

 

He could have his pick of any promoter from uk and many further afield. I really don't think he's going to have sn issue in that regard.
