I’m aware i am posting on the general so could go down like a lead ballon.

JT is a huge light weight who excels on the inside.

If he carries the weight up how do you see this fight panning out?

    Spence would shut him down.

No idea. I think Errol Spence's skillset is massively overrated by boxing analysts of the day. That said, he's a big welterweight himself; I could potentially see him compete at middleweight. Josh Taylor was in a competitive slugfest with Regis Prograis who looked noticeably smaller than Taylor.

Put a gun to my head, I think Spence is just a little too big for Taylor.

Two conflicting imponderables: How would Taylor suit 147 and will Spence ever be the same after his accident? Both of these need some evidence to inform a judgement about this match-up. My guess is Taylor will suit 147 but the Spence issue is hard to call without seeing him in action again...

After that crash i think Spence will use his name to earn some money for big fights.Maybe even the result of that fiths will be negotiated. And that will be the end.Or he can return with real fights after another couple of years.
If it's about Spence who we all know vs Taylor, of course the answear is Spence.

Agree with regards to the rougarou comparison. I do think that Regis is a lot shorter and fights as a sharp shooter out of that stance. His ability to be smaller and cuter than Taylor won him rounds. Spence as good as he is on the inside isn’t that kind of inside fighter. It would be easier for Taylor to get up tight and work without having to worry about the lateral movement and sharp straights

Regis is actually a huge light weight himself. According to Adam Smith Prograis walked into the ring weighing 155 lbs against Taylor. He just looks smaller because he’s 5”8. Prograis is a big lightweight. Cutting 15/16 lbs at that size is a lot. He’ll move up to welterweight soon no doubt about it.

Spence points or late stoppage. I don’t think Spence will be at welter for long I think he’ll go up to 154 soon anyway.

I'd love to be wrong but my money would be on Errol Spence by late KO

IF Taylor carries the weight up like op suggests I could see this being as competitive as spence v porter was.Spence ain't stopping him though I'm confident of that.he couldn't stop mikey despite dominating him.
