Correct, not insulting at all. Josh is very good, and I'm high on him. But we dont even know if can beat Prograis, let alone Crawford.

Taylor is too straight up and hittable for Crawford anyway. Josh has a really good offensive, and defensively he certainly isnt a wiz.

Against a sharp shooter like Crawford, that gets you picked apart.

 

I don't agree this is why Crawford/Spence have not faced off or Crawford v Thurman/Pacquiao.
If he's on a another level why have these fights not happened? tell me this.

Taylor just had a close fight with a man (Postol) whom Crawford effortlessly shut out. And to date, that's Josh's best win... Crawford's leftovers

Theres currently no evidence that suggests Taylor could deal with Crawford, and his skills are not on par.

If Prograis beats Taylor, this thread is gonna look ridiculous.

If Taylor utterly destroys Prograis, then we can re-visit.

But currently, he's not on Crawford's level, and if they fought right now, Josh would get taken apart and stopped.

 

I'll be the first to admit he's not faced any top guys yet but I wouldn't blame Crawford just yet.Thurman has been hiding for two years so that's not even applicable and with Spence I'm hoping they get it done soon.
I based my opinion on Crawford purely on the eye test and certainly someone like Taylor would prove it one way or the other.

And to be sure this is a skills thing as both are fit,good engines and look better than their peers but how is it that folk often forget about the elite boxer v the fighter?
Crawford is way ahead on skill and experience and quite honestly I think he would pick him apart.

 

I think it's a fight where Taylor gets picked apart easier than his fans think, and afterwards, his fans would refuse to give Crawford credit and would say that Taylor was too inexperienced.

I think he will and he's been highly thought of on here for a while and not just by Brits.I think in a few years is about right as he's been brought on so fast and still needs the experience.

Well he clearly had enough promotion that he did not have to get discovered after 18 wins as someone's sparing partner. The promoter doesn't get you name recognition he gets you opportunities to fight. Crawford was signed on a one fight deal to find out how good he was and after he beat Prescott he finally got an opportunity. Taylor never had to hustle his own fights

 

Everybody jumping the gun on this Taylor is still inexperienced,lets see if he can beat the top dogs at his own weight first!
