Maybe Taylor can have one final big payday fight against Ryan Garcia before retirement?

Which he'll probably get KO'd in. Ryan's clearly still dealing with his mental problems, which can be sorted out... Taylor is shot, which can't.

It mustnt be very easy for Taylor to digest what's happening and his new self.

I think that payday was contingent on at least winning his 1st fight at 147...

Tbf, Taylor did show in his fights with Postol and Baranchyk that he is more than capable of fighting on the outside. You are correct though, he did seem to get comfortable with being the bigger and stronger guy in all of his fights and never really cared to adjust his style for anything above 140.

Maybe so.. but the pre-fight trash talk would at least be entertaining to see.

I never liked his boxing and I've always thought he was overrated. Neverthless, I thought he was a nice guy. I never understood why some people think he's an *******. Maybe I missed some interviews or something. Anyway, I dont dislike him. Extremely overrated, though.

Taylor should have never fought caterall at 140 again. Teo... meeeh, likely he got some money so it was worth it, but after the first caterall fight it was quite clear that he was overextending at 140, he should have moved to 147 sooner. Not that it would have changed many things, but anyway, I think it would have been a better move.

Agreed that staying at 140 was a horrible move.

He should have gone straight from the Ramirez win to fighting Bud. He would have gotten smashed, of course, but that it wouldn't have hurt his standing.

Getting flogged twice by Jack forever ruined how people view him.
