I think it's a 50/50 fight IMO. How do you see the fight playing out?

This is a little bit early in Russell's career to even take this kinda question seriously no?

Taylor would win in a fair fight, but if that same dodgy referee who gifted Russell a quick stoppage win over Barthelemy is working the fight, it might make a difference.

I remember people saying similar things before Spence took on Algeri. "Oh Spence is going to get a controversial when" or my favorite "How is Spence going to ko Algeri, when neither Pacquiao nor Provodnikov could." ...........and what happened, Spence destroyed that boy in Brutal fashion. Nothing controversial about that fight at ALL. I like what I saw with GAR. He throws a lot of punches, has good hand speed, power, Is very poised and knows his way around the ring. I personally think he can very well beat Josh Taylor

Nah Russell would beat him clearly and get the win imo, unless it's in Scotland.

Taylor knocks him out, you dont get buzzed by pillow fist 130 Rances and get compared to The JT. Taylor makes him did like the Davies fight:afro:drops him with an uppercut on the inside

Taylor wont batter Gary i think its a close fight that Gary has a good chance of winning, especially after how Taylor looked against the Jack.

Why are we picking GAR to beat the far more proven former undisputed champion and P4P top 10 Taylor already? Taylor has beaten Rougarou, JCR, Baranchyk, a much better and younger Postol, Ryan Martin, Khongsong, Miguel Vazquez, and Ohara Davies. Just because he had a very bad day at the office after a terrible camp doesn't make him a bad fighter all of a sudden. He was clearly way below par against Catterall and he wouldn't have beaten all those other world champions and contenders if he wasn't any good. Catterall arguably lost to Ohara, Taylor trounced Ohara and stopped him with ease. I

I told you for long time that a 7-0 Taylor bashed up Shawn Porter in his own gym and Ugas got dropped and sent to the hospital with a damaged jaw by Taylor during those sparring sessions too.

Not saying GAR isn't a good fighter but a bad day at the office does not maketh a bum.

Sure Taylor been acting like an ******* but pump brakes gentlemen please.
