Josh Taylor vs. Jack Catterall II & Paddy Donovan vs. Lewis Ritson + Cully vs. Patera RBR.

Hoping against hope this won't be another stinker, but I think their styles simply won't gel well and it will be an equally scrappy and dull affair. But would love to be pleasantly surprised.
As a Scot that's followed TTT for a long time, I'm rooting for Josh, but feel he will need to show a huge return to past form to get the W and I'm predicting a UD for Catterall.

Again hope to be pleasantly surprised that we can see the TTT of old, but not sure it exists anymore

 

It's a shame this rematch didn't happen sooner, can't say I am as pumped for this rematch after Lopez schooled Taylor. Even if Catterall wins the loss to Lopez takes some of the shine off the win and Catterall will probably still be seen as a fighter who caught Taylor at the right time or simply had a bad style for Taylor.

 

Remember when Taylor was thought of as the next Ken Buchanan?

 

Catterall was robbed in the last fight.

Hope Taylor gets sparked out as justice.

 

Ignoring the controversy, the first fight definitely closed up in the later rounds as Taylor applied pressure and Catterall got increasingly negative. I think if Taylor can fight with more urgency from the first bell this time then he will outwork Catterall to a decision.

 

It was only a couple of years ago that his fanboys said he would beat Crawford FFS.

 

Taylor no doubt has (had?) a higher ceiling than Catterall, and the much better wins. The thing is, Caterall is super consistent, and a solid operator. You know what you're getting with him each time out.

Guess it comes down to how much you think Taylor has slid the last few years.

 

Taylor UD. Catteral is way to defensive to get stopped unless he fights on emotion tonight.

 

Going out on a limb and predicting... Catterall wide decision or even a stoppage!

Taylor has too much pride to be stopped.

 

I have a feeling people are going to be bandwagon hopping somewhere else come Monday morning, and boxing "fans" will talk about Taylor like he's suddenly a never was.
