Caterall was hurt a couple of times. I remember a really nice body shot from Taylor that had Jack retreating and recovering his wind.

I think he's got a lot of unfair stick form the first fight. I know he's not exactly likeable to lots of people and has behaved like a thug outside the ring. Good fighter and showed a lot of heart. He's gone from Undisputed to what is essentially 3 losses on the trot over 2 years

I must have missed when Taylor was ever a "dominant" fighter. On the best night of his life, he edged Regis 7-5.

We must have different definitions of dominant.

He's 92. Talk about putting in the time.

115-113 Catterall for me. Josh has been too tense and one dimensional in his last three fights now. Judges had it too wide.

Respect to both fighters but neither is winning belts at this point. This is just a moral victory for Cat who frankly was robbed last time out.
Taylor had a great achievements but has aged terribly the last few years, probably down to his lifestyle outside of the ring, it always catches up.

I have to say it Johnny. You sound like an emotional Taylor fan.

Catterall is just all wrong for Josh.

He doesn't know how to use his range/long reach against a much shorter fighter, couldn't mix it up at all on the inside. A lot of body shots but there was no power behind any of them to worry Jack. Can't even recall any head shots that wobbled Jack.

I doubt I’d watch catterall fight again, he’s so lazy n poor.
Walks backwards except for 20sec bursts. Doesn't press the action etc, not much aggression or ring generalship.
I’m suprised Taylor didn’t catch him with some good shots when catteral is moving in the same direction 98% of the fight.

Taylor was a very good fighter, but he was never (even in his prime) that much better than Jack. His best wins are Ramirez and Prograis. Taylor is not a p4p type fighter.

Great response, really goes a long way in justifying Catteral’s win

    Jack earnt a 115-113 win.

117-111 feels like 88 Seoul Olympics.

I find he has some IQ but seems to be low output and tires quickly.
