    Round 1 Taylor 10-9
    Round 2 Taylor 10-9

Josh dominant with beautiful jabs and lefts to the body.

    Taylor:1,2
    Ramirez:

Second rounds begins as the first one did, Josh pushing the jab, Ramirez waiting. For the first time, fast-hands win JOsh a spell, as he flashes Ramirez with pretty hard quick shots, not all clean, but eye-catching and a very clean start. Rest of the first minute is quieter than we've seen, though Rmairez landed a decent right hand on 2:20. Ramirez is very, very alive to the squeeze - he has his eye on squeezing the canvas, but he is not consistent with it. If you give Josh space outside, he will hit you, one way or another. He does so here with single shots and then a good uppercut to the body as they clash inside. Taylor gives groun,d Ramirez misses with a wildish power-punch, Josh holds his ground as he takes ring-centre once more and hits the double-jab. Pace has slowed but there is a lot of tension. Great left hand to the body Rmariez, Taylor backed to the ropes there and got hit, and again. Rmairez doing good work in the final minute here. Josh retakes control with the jab and a clinch, front-headlock style. Taylor trying to keep the heat out of the fight, strange to see him clinch so much but he is winning these rounds.

    1. 10-9 Taylor
    2. 10-9 Taylor

One thing for Ramirez is Taylor does react to his body shots, everything else going Taylor's way.

Ramirez is biting on a lot of Taylor's feints.

I can see a rationale for that, depends on how much you think he actually hurt Taylor. Subsequent behavior suggests maybe not as much as it may have first seemed in the moment. I can see leaning his way, though...but you are very much against tide with that, obviously.

Taylor working body well early, exactly what I wanted to see. Ramirez got a few shots through but Taylor cleaner for me so far

Taylor 2-0. Ramirez has his moments but Taylor doing more work. I like the double jab and all of the feints he’s using. Also, Taylor is landing more inside. I didn’t expect that to happen. Good fight.
