Richie Woodhall has it 4-2 for Taylor, not sure how he could find one clear round for Vazquez, much less two, jerkoff.

    Round 1 Taylor 10-9
    Round 2 Taylor 10-9
    Round 3 Taylor 10-9
    Round 4 Taylor 10-9
    Round 5 Taylor 10-9
    Round 6 Taylor 10-9
    Round 7 Taylor 10-9

Josh comes out very aggressive, going to town on Miguel's body, landing right and left hooks, uppercuts, combinations mixing in work up top, Vazquez trying to roll and slip, but not fast enough, Taylor's landed most of his shots, Vazquez tags Taylor with a series of lunging uppercuts, that only seemed to irritate Taylor, he drove him into the corner with his straight left, Miguel is starting to fall apart.

    Round 1 Taylor 10-9
    Round 2 Taylor 10-9
    Round 3 Taylor 10-9
    Round 4 Taylor 10-9
    Round 5 Taylor 10-9
    Round 6 Taylor 10-9
    Round 7 Taylor 10-9
    Round 8 Taylor 10-9

Dominant brutal round from Taylor, he comes out working behind his jab at range, lands several straight lefts that rock Vazquez back into the ropes, Vazquez is falling apart, he looks ragged as hell, as Miguel slides along the ropes Taylor is landing right hooks, upjabs and uppercuts, Vazquez goes back to trying to spoil, but Taylor is having none of it, he backs him into the ropes and unloads some more.

    Round 1 Taylor 10-9
    Round 2 Taylor 10-9
    Round 3 Taylor 10-9
    Round 4 Taylor 10-9
    Round 5 Taylor 10-9
    Round 6 Taylor 10-9
    Round 7 Taylor 10-9
    Round 8 Taylor 10-9
Round 9 Taylor wins by KO

Taylor comes out and picks up where he left off, landing crisp nasty hooks to the body mixing in uppercuts, Vazquez is rolling with some, Vazquez tries to mount a comeback, lands a few one twos, but Taylor rides with them, then he turns it up a notch, nailing him with several hooks to the body, Vazquez falls along the ropes and slides, Taylor lands 3 hard uppercuts that snap Miguel's head up in succession followed by a right hook under the arm to the ribs, a place he's been targeting the whole round, and down goes Vazquez on his knees, and he stays down, Taylor wins by KO.:ggg

@CST80 How close is Taylor to fighting for a world title? I haven't seen the fight, was working late & working now again. Seen the KO. Is he ready for Ramirez, Postol, Lipinets, Imam, Prograis etc ?

Thanks for RBR & breaking the fight down.

What a glorious sight, I hate Miguel Vazquez, I've been wanting him to get KO'd for years now, thank ou Josh, that made me a very happy man.:applaudit::beer-toast1:

For anyone not familiar with Vazquez, ignore the 6 losses on his record, its bull****, he should only have two at the most, he won the Mickey Bey match by a mile, it was close to a shutout, it was one of the most notorious robberies that year. The Mendez loss, was equally bull****, I had Vazquez winning fairly easily as did most on the RBR. The other 3 losses are two to Canelo and one to Bradley, no shame there, especially when you consider on of the losses to Canelo was Vazquez's first match, and it was a SD, he claims he got robbed, there was a rematch, and he lost that one by UD, but claimed robbery again. While he may be BSing, the fact that his matches against Canelo are literally nowhere to be found on the net, gives a degree of credence to his claim. This was a damn good win for Taylor. A win that certainly some who merely glance at his record on Boxrec may underrate, which they definitely should not. Granted Taylor is a LWW, and Vazquez is a LW, that's not a great argument to discredit it, because Vazquez has been campaigning at LWW for his last 4 or 5 matches, and its not like he's wartorn or anything, his style is the epitome of safety first, he rarely takes anything even close to a beating.

    No problem.

As long as he shores up his defense and fights very cautiously against Lipinets, Ramirez and Prograis, yeah he's more than ready. I think he could KO Postol fairly easily, and the Imam fight probably follows a similar pattern to the Davies fight.
