Taylor is the goods. If he can't beat the top guys at 147 now, he never will.

Idk about this one. Taylor is obviously a great fighter but he seems perfect for 140. I’d go with Ortiz right now

i favor ortiz. taylor looks same level as competition when he gets into tear ups. its when he boxes that he rises above it. i didnt think he had the discipline to stick to a plan because of his temperament, till he did it vs ramirez. but ortiz is one of those fighters that forces everyone into a tear up whether you want one or not. like pitbull cruz seems to be, same mold. i think he stands a better chance vs crawford cause of styles. i think martin is the logical choice if he cant get a title shot. hes got a win over mikey which gives him legitimacy, but isnt too dangerous. gives him the potential to make a big splash in the new division without walking the minefield.

JT can either get knocked out by Crawford or Spence or he can get knocked out by Ennis or Ortiz. Pick his poison.

Ortiz Jr is basically a bigger, more powerful, and versatile version of Regis. I see Ortiz Jr stopping Taylor in the later rounds

I think it's Spence's management. Spence has fought and beaten the top 147lbers in the PBC b/c Uncle Al likes to keep it in house.

Interesting fight and I like watching both. Ortiz was horrible last fight after pissing hot but his jab and left hook have got some mustard on them and his head movement and defence are improving.
Taylor has some dog in him as well as length, speed of hand and foot and good pop. He's pretty complete but when he moves up he'll give up some range and power.
    50/50, Taylor SD/MD

Ortiz and Regis are exceptional in the pocket
. Both have great Chins and elite power. Both have the best jabs in their divisions

I quite frankly don't see anything exceptional about either gents skills. They are both very good fighters but that's it. However that is not the point. The point is how they use thier skill sets. They apply them very differently, hence they don't fight the same and may have different outcomes fighting the same fighter.
