Taylor showing his youth and athletic advantage now, he is quicker and is getting more of his shots through the defense. Right hook lands, then a straight left hand. Postol lands a strong right hand, then another that looks to have hurt Taylor. Postol really coming on strong in the last half of the round. Close round but Postol nicks it with his work in the end.

 

He looks visibly stunned every few shot Postol connects with.

The ref is obviously biased. I guess the judges will be biased as well...

Not much landed in the first minute. Postol with a good body shot. Taylor finally gets Postol to the ropes and lands a left hand. Another Postol body shot and another. Frantic last few seconds, in which Taylor landed a good right hook and left hand.

Postol is very badoujackish fighter, too easy to underestimate.

 

Got to give it another 10-10 round believe it or not!

Some good work from both fighters. Postol maybe edged it on work rate but Taylor definitely landed the better shots.

Postol is way more shot than he was against Crawford. Only reason he's looking good is because Taylor is just not this good. Why would I give him respect? Taylor saw a shot fighter in postol who looked awful in his last fight and wanted to jump on a fighter with a "name". Postol had absolutely no momentum coming into this fight.

 

8th was the closest round for me to call. Taylor had a couple of nice flourishes and landed a nice right left combo at the end, but Postol still did consistent work with the jab and worked the right downstairs. 78-74 Postol
