Josh Taylor vs. Viktor Postol & Martin Bakole Ilunga vs. DL Jones RBR.

I was at the fight tonight. On my way home now. Josh did well . Gulf of experience showed but Josh showed good stamina and determination to keep at it and kd was crucial on my card. I had it by 3 rounds to Josh. The cards were just silly.

 

I had it 117-111

Could have been 116-112

The scores were stupid.

 

Yeah you can't have it both ways. He supported Postol here out of proxy for his value as a Crawford scalp and was cheering with glee when he was having success in the fight, now when Postol loses he brings out the "He's not the same." line. Fact of the matter is Postol was still in good form going into this bout only having been once beaten by a multiple weight world champion who many consider to be #1 P4P.

Was my scorecard. Looks like they’ve just gave all my 10-10s (which were close) to Taylor.

 

I expected Postol to do better than most people thought he would. Good win by Taylor these types of fights will help him improve as a fighter. I also hope Taylor joins the WBSS.

Nah...He was bothered a little more than I thought he'd be by Postol, who isn't a huge puncher. He'll have to work on keeping his head off line a bit more when he faces guys like Prograis and, to a lesser extent, Ramirez.

 

I don't know whats more disgusting..the scorecards or your brown nosing of Crawford.

 

Takes some of the gloss off don't they? Watching Alex Arthur's card on 5 the fight was brilliant, could go either way. Then you get those cards and realise postol had little chance of a decision.

 

Honestly Postol fought at a high level tonight, I thought he was done but based on eye-test he's still a handful for anyone at 140 lb now that Crawford moved up.

 

One of Taylor's pupils is dilated and one isn't....

 

The scene at light welterweight is pretty interesting, you have Prograis and Taylor who are the 2 best fighters in the divsion, yet neither one is a world champion.

 

It might go up a bit. This just confirms what many of us knew already... That Postol was by far one of the best scalps(if not the best) on his resume.
