I don't recall Postol being inclined to let his hands go after eating a steady diet of Crawford's left hands, or make any effort to find a way back into that fight. In fact, he was quite content to follow TC around and do enough to lose. If anyone bitched out that night in Vegas, it was Postol.

That said, good performance from VP this evening. He sacked up and took it to a guy that everyone (including me) expected to destroy him. And, gritty stuff from Taylor, who fought through some adversity and showed that there's some substance to go along with that whirlwind style.

And not unlike Canelo against Golovkin,Crawford fought in a very different manner to how he normally fights, word was that he copped a load of stick of the networks for that and to his credit he’s been ok since.
After this the networks are gonna want Taylor as he’s great to watch, who wants to see Crawford doing a Rigondeux/Ward impression.

    Round 1 Postol 10-9

The damage from the body shot was overstated, it looked like it caught Taylor by surprise, may have not the wind out of him for a second, but he wasn't badly hurt. Somewhat close round other than that.

Yes to be fair Shane Mcguigan said the same that they were too wide and that he had him two or three rounds up.
Admittedly it was difficult at times to score and many rounds you could give 10-10 but still there were times when Postal looked like he was putting on a clinic against Taylor.
Clearly a case of the judges either corrupt or just wanting to score every little thing for Taylor and that’s just wrong

The troubles Taylor is having is partially due to Postol having the reach advantage, but also because Taylor is a southpaw, and aggressive, which is never a good mix, something most of us geniuses clearly reflexively and stupidly overlooked going into the fight.

I've got to say the silly cards did take some gloss off the win. People at the fight with me generally had it by 2-3 rounds for Taylor. Boxing badly needs better judges.

When did i ever suggest that?
What i mean by Postol being lost is that Crawford was just too good. Postol could not figure out a way to get any momentum going, and he had a really though time just defending himself.

    Round 1 Postol 10-9
    Round 2 Taylor 1o-9

Solid Josh round, he came out very aggressive landing beautiful straight lefts, jabs, right hooks, Postol tightened it up a little, but mostly all Taylor.
