Margarito started at 154 and spent his career at 147.

    I'm sure there's plenty.

    P4P is subjective.

You don't have to be undisputed to be on that list.

Crawford skills and his ring IQ make him top of this list.

It's not about what you do, it's how you do.

How you do it, is also a function of who you do it to. Crawford's recent resume (since moving to 147) is weak considering the names in the division

    Current Boxrec Top 10

    1 Terence Crawford 1797
    2 Errol Spence Jr* 932.2
    3 Shawn Porter 382.7
    4 Mikey Garcia 328.1
    5 Kell Brook 222.4
    6 Danny Garcia 213.3
    7 Yordenis Ugas 175.5
    8 David Avanesyan 137.4
    9 Abel Ramos 110.9
    10 Egidijus Kavaliauskas 103.7

Crawford only has 5 & 10 on his resume, and I'm not really sure why Brook is still at #5 on the list, his last win @147 was back in 2016, and his last meaningful win @147 was back in 2014 when he actually won the IBF against Porter.

Compare to Spence who has 3,4 & 6 and is about to fight Manny. Additionally, Manny and Thurman are not showing on this list as they have status inactive, which would push Mean Machine off the top ten.

    Current Ring Top 10 @ 147:-

    1 Errol Spence
    2 Terrence Crawford
    3 Manny Pacquiao
    4 Keith Thurman
    5 Shawn Porter
    6 Yordenis Ugas
    7 Danny Garcia
    8 Jaron Ennis
    9 KUDRATILLO ABDUKAKHOROV
    10 Vergil Ortiz Jr

It's even worse for Crawford when looking at Ring rankings. He doesn't have a single name in the top 10 on his resume. That's ****-poor IMO.

Again, Spence has 5&7 on his list and is facing number 3 in August.

Crawford gets a lot of milage based on his obvious talents, but he needs some decent fights!

NB - I blame Arum for this - but Crawford should never have resigned with TopRank IMO.

Why, they had gave him nice fight vs Machine who looks that had stepped up too quickly and cool ref who did not had gave him a count.
Yeah, he won this one but bob damn had been so good for his career, God help everyone with such life.

First is how. There are levels of skills that nobody else has. He is special. You don't see boxers like him in a decades, but you see boxers like Spence and Taylor a lot more.

Fair enough, but one could argue it's easier for the elite's to showcase that kind of stuff against B/C level opposition. And any weaknesses that might have are far less likely to be flagged up, as it would take A level to be able to exploit it or even show it. I always thought that is the whole point of the resume argument.

If that is true, tell me what kind of skills have Spence shown against lower level opposition that one would consider that he is as special as Crawford ?

P.S. The way he is switch from southpaw to orthodox is more impressive that anything Spence has ever done.

No he shouldn't replace him despite having a better run at 140. If they end up fighting you will see how foolish that is.

Ok, I will rephrase - it is much harder to look 'special' against the cream of the crop in your own division.

I'd LOVE to see Bud really prove how good he is by whupping Spence or being the first person to KO Showtime Porter. But he's not proven those things yet. Porter especially, NO ONE has looked dominant against Porter and that would be more than enough in my and anyone else's book i'd have thought.
