Can't believe this thread has resurfaced, what a ridiculous title and I am from Leeds. A guy with 2 knockouts our best prospect for world title contention compared to Joshua, Campbell, Smith and Eubank Jnr to name a few. He is not even full time. I don't mean to sound overly critical, I am from Leeds and a fan of Josh. I also believe in been non bias and you are clearly not Mr thistle.

Doesn't change anything does it, the answer is always going to be no. Why not ask a sensible question, like "will Josh Warrington make it to World level?". You obviously rate Warrington highly, as do I, but come on mate, get real.

Good boxer Warrington with a good engine as well, don't think he has enough pop in his shots to deliver at world level though - would love for him to prove me wrong though.

Tbf mate warrington has picked up vacant titles against 2 unbeaten fighters away from home his climbing the ladder. Yes munroe had seen better days and everyone thought lindsey wud hav to much for warrington and he won convincingly again. Selby hasnt exactly been special in his last few fights. Walsh caused him problems tho he won the fight comfortably. I think down the line its a good match up.

I'd rate Flanagan vastly higher than Warrington.

I have to echo Maleys thoughts here, Selbys last fights have been mediocre at best. Maybe he would tan warringtons arse at this time . . although im not so sure he would . but id much ratber see a home (uk)defense if selby can win the belt. By that time if warrington can keep progressing at the rate he is doing im pretty sure he will be able to take selby.
Great possible fight for the future.
