Thought Josh and his Dad werent happy with the progression. What was Frank got that Denis Ceylan fight as the eliminator?
That could be it, I’m not sure. I don’t think there was much bad blood it was just one of them - the contract was up and the decision was not to renew. I was surprised at the time but Warren did a good job with Warrington, and I bet he was gutted to have lost him.
Come on man! Marrero was a former WBA interim champ with a high KO %age. His world ranking is 158 places higher than the Frenchman.
Watching the IFL interview Josh has really gone down in my estimation. It’s quite clearly a duck. I’m not a fan of Galahad either, I would’ve loved Warrington to smash his face in but he’s ducked him.
He has 100% but its a financial duck, which i personally classify slightly different from a "crap my pants" duck Either way a bad look
Galahad has played his cards very well with this one. He’s increased his profile massively as it was virtually non existent before this. Eddie should keep em both happy get them both back as world champions and it would be a much bigger fight in a couple of fights time for a unification
Yh I do think its more of a financial duck and he wouldnt mind fighting Barry when capacity is back in full come 2022. But giving up a title to fight a walkover is not in the warriirs code. Just on boxing alone I like Josh Warrington. I fell asleep during the Barry fight but thought with no title involved its probably a L for him. Outside the ring he comes across as a weasel and a pusy. Has a face that shouts bang me Warriors dont duck vacate titles or hype up walkover jobs, as worse as touching gloves after every or before every round, ***** moves.
