Lee Selby followed by Frampton, so much respect for Warrington, I didn't think he had it in him.

I never thought Warrington had this level of ability.

I had him nailed down as a domestic level fighter at best. Pillow fisted pressure fighting is the hardest style to take to world level.

With that win Warrington really announces himself on the world scene. Selby and Frampton back to back. Wow.

Well played the lad from Leeds.

    MOT.

I wouldn't be surprised if Top Rank signs Warrington.

If you bet me this time last year that Warrington would beat Selby and Frampton in 2018 I’d be potless

I know he's not a Top Tank guy, but I think Leo Santa Cruz vs Josh Warrington is a great matchup to make, if it can get over the line. A very nice blend of styles. Imagine the punch stats in that one -- good grief!

The crazy thing is, we still don't know what his level is because he hasn't yet reached it.

Right now, LSC by narrow points win. It really could go either way though -- especially if it does take a while to get made and Warrington keeps on improving in the meantime.

Edwards and Warrington proved you don't need massive power to be a champion. Just a lot of desire to win and long life batteries ( stamina) to beat the big hitters.

In a year where Usyk hadn't run wild over the cruiser-weight division, Warrington would have now put himself into consideration for FOTY. As it stands, his 2018 warrants inclusion in the honorable mention section for that award.
