Never liked Warrington at all, couldn't stand him after his headbutting cop-out in the Martinez fight. He tried it again tonight and I am glad he lost.

 

As others have mentioned Lara vs Lopez sounds like a great fight. I thought Lopez would be a one dimensional puncher but he's a good mover too

 

Good win by Lopez and rightfully so. If I was in Lopez's charge I will hurry the heck outta there before the crowd goes after him.

I had it 115-113 Lopez. Gave Josh the last four rounds. He was totally inactive with his jab. In the earlier rounds there was just too many lapses in activity to score him any rounds. Perhaps a bit gun shy with his jaw issues. Warrington finished strong although he deployed very rough tactics. Surprised he didn’t get a match room decision. Fair decision. He left it too late

 

There’s something so funny about Warrington winning this belt back by battering a 45 year old man and ducking his nemesis, talking about big unifications in Vegas or New York, only to lose it to a Mexican at home in the first defence
