Wale won that last round on my card based on effective aggression, McDonnell couldn't establish himself and took some meaty shots. Wale also seems to take McDonnell's shots without much problem, he's taken clean uppercuts and just seems to not even blink.

To be honest Wale took a hell of alot of punishment when he faced Kid Galahad so his chin doesn't surprise me, so this could well be a very good fight.

    Round 3

McDonnell is scampering away, hiding behind the gloves, jabbing up at Wale and throwing long needling combos on the backfoot. Wale is pressing in and chopping with the right and working hooks on either side of the body.

    10-9 McDonnell, close again.

    30-27 McDonnell

    Round 4

More pressure by Wale, forcing McDonnell to skirt along the ropes and trade in erratic bursts of long streamers past Wale's neck. Wale is getting in thumps on the chest and long torso of McDonnell walking him down.

    10-9 Wale

    39-37 McDonnell

    Round 5

McDonnell is backing straight up and getting caught with the paintbrush right hand of Wale, sitting back and working light right uppercuts into the body while flipping up the jab. Wale is pressing forward despite a badly cut and swollen eye, forcing the action, getting a piece of the body every time McDonnell circles by.

    10-9 Wale

    48-47 McDonnell

Just with the round descriptions, still watching the fight live.

(2dary browser needed to restart, having to compose from memory, hence the lack of detail from rounds 3 until 5...)

Jim Watt has it 57-57 even after 6

He has to discourage the fellow by trowing pun-cheese
