A draw can't apply toward claiming the Lonsdale outright, can it?

Or does it just go by 'successful defenses' of the British title, without them needing to be W's?

This actually was a rematch, they met last September.

Hard to see McDonnell finding the reward worth the risk being 1-0-1 over Wale already.

Fair one, missed that one, only been getting back into the sport over the past few months. Both fighters seem game for the trilogy, I wouldn't complain!

Stephen Smith to box on the backfoot for ages against Munoz. Still expect Smith to win a close decision. Munoz has a win against Luis Franko - who is better than ANYONE on Smith's resume.
But he lost easily in his last fight, so how much does he have left? He can definitely take a shot - but so could Buckland, question is will Smith get hurt in this fight.

Not yet, anyway. Munoz doesn't look out of his depth here or many levels below Smith.

Smith started fast and sinks some eye catching punches into Munoz who takes them well, and sizes up Smith and eventually lands the best punch of the round just before the bell with a tasty left hand.
This one is set to heat up.

Aha, makes sense tactical surprise by Smith, he's on the front foot and marching inside on Munoz who can't box on the backfoot, therefore Munoz is finding it tough to find a plan B. 2-0 Smith.
