He did, but it's possible Breezer might be around the same level, and he has better wins on his resume.

Every fight Whyte does is breaking down the aura of the AJ.

Allen's best win is Jason "Woo" Gavern and I'm gonna say AJ's is breazeale, either way these guys do not belong mention in the HW division. I dont wanna see it. This is awful.

    Round 8

Allen walks forward, Whyte lands uppercut and spins away, Allen walks forward takes a 4 punch combo to the belly, Whyte plugging away, he lands two punch combo up top that rocks Allen's head back, Whyte loads up and lands uppercut, Allen walks through it, they hold, Allen pins him on the ropes unloads Whyte spins out and lands a combo.

    Whyte 10-9

Right now it's looking like that warrior Jason Gavern is AJ's best win.

Breazeale's only win is a 44 year old Mansour, and Mansour was dominating him (and winning on the scorecards) until Mansour got an injury and couldn't continue.

Breazeale got that fabled "Puncher's chance" win.

Allen was open about what his game plan was going to beforehand - he was going to let Whyte tire himself from pounding away at him and then turn it on in the second half of the fight. The rumours of him having a granite chin appear to be true - he's definitely very tough - but it would've helped his cause if he actually threw hard punches back at Whyte instead of just constantly ploughing forwards taking punishment. You come back with counters after dipping to the side.

Allen did come out with a good quote though

''I hope his fists can take the punishment my face is going to dish out to them''
