Fair shout as I'm not that sold on Selby but he's still a bit raw- he did get clipped a couple of times needlessly and defensively needs to improve. Then again he's only had 14 fights.

Better to wait till Selby gets the world title fight. More money in the fight then and not far down the line.

Beautiful boxer, I've been supporting him since seeing him in Dudley over 2 years ago now... lovely to watch and for me as a purist.,I much prefer the Boxer to the Fighter.

I hope for his sake & British Boxing he goes all the way, he's a welcomed gentleman to too many thugs and hype jobs!

    Well done young man!

    No Maley,

I was there with some fighters... but that was a helluva fight and the young Josh, God willing, could really be an inspiration for Britain & Boxing!

Was a great night on Saturday and I am really excited by the whole prospect of Warrington and his following. Leeds as a city and West Yorkshire on the whole has rarely produced top fighters, especially compared to Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield. He already has a large and growing fan base and each fight he is answering questions about his ability. I believe he will go full time now and when you consider that and the fact he is only 23, there is real potential here for something special, which is what boxing in the area needs. There is a gulf in competition, but based on recent performances, Warrington Selby would be great fight, and I could see Selby being outworked, especially if the fight happens in Leeds.

    I Agree 100%

your right I don't believe anybody to date has given Josh as hard a fight.

This also serves to prove just how fine 'some' fighters that never reach the top can indeed be, and in the reverse 'some' fighters at the top are more than just a tad lucky to be there!

IF Warrington reaches the Very Top you can be sure that your cousin will Rate among the hardest opponents & contests he ever had to overcome. :deal

I'd like to see him fight some good European level fights for his next few bouts although it depends what happens with Selby. That is a fight I would really like to see, especially in Leeds!
