At least both were well known. Xu Can had not won a world title :)

    Xu who :)

It is evident that Warrington surrounding himself with nut-huggers has really progressed his career.

I meant he vacated after they'd announced he was fighting Lara but the original fight was supposed to be for the IBF and was announced as so.

He could have fought Galahad and then his dream Xunification.
It's pretty clear to 99.99% of boxing fans that he thought Mexico's no.5 would be an easier fight.

Personally I thought Galahad won the last fight.

Warrington saying he won't fight for Galahad's world title would suggest he agrees with you.

I actually like Warrington and rate him as a fighter. You have to after his notable wins and what he's achieved but the other night he didn't seem his usual self. I wonder how much that splattering has affected him.

That’s the bottom line. I thought Warrington done enough as the champion in their fight but it was close and he didn’t want a single bit of him again. If you suddenly don’t wanna start fighting certain fighters, there’s gotta be a mental weakness in there somewhere and the Mexican battered him to pieces.

No offence at all to the Mexican, he’s heavy handed and a good chin - but he’s a novice, his footwork is poor and technically pretty weak at that level. Warrington has to actually box, you can’t try and out-punch someone like that.

Yeah, he'd be foolish to go in with his usual game plan. Odds are the Mexican will outlast him in a fire fight and it will end the same way as the first. He will box next time.
