Spot on - if he wants a scrap he'll get chinned, if he has the discipline to box and move he should win a wide points decision because Lara looked very poor technically, especially in the first few rounds.

Bit like Joshua Ruiz 2, except swap Lara being technically poor for Ruiz being morbidly obese.

 

Fair play to anyone who scored all 12 rounds, after 4 I was getting very distracted

 

Barry deservedly lost last time because he barely touched Josh even though he clearly was frustrating him and showing he is more skilled.

I think Barry would be more aggressive next time and get the UD over Josh.

And I can't stand Barry by the way.

 

I'd rather listen to a 4 hour segment of Hearn and Bellew: Talk the Talk than have to watch Warrington-Barry 2, but I do think Barry deserves the rematch.

 

Wonder if there's anyone who likes Galahad

 

I don't go by stats but what I see. Most of his punches were very tentative and his lack of aggression lost him the fight.

But I do think he is the better boxer and would win if they fought again .

 

What was more enticing, fighting an unknown quantity for no belt or defend yyour world title v a British rival ? He clearly dodged Galahad rematch.

 

Warrington v Galahad was a very close fight and a real tricky one to score. I think people's perceptions are governed to some extent by whether they favour an inaccurate, high output fighter or an accurate, low output one.

I wasn't sure Barry did enough to beat Warrington, yet my instinct when the cards were read out was that he'd been hard done by as he'd clearly boxed the smarter and more effective fight. I thought he should have been a bit busier and had he done so I suspect he'd have won it decisively.

I reckon Barry knows that too deep down and regrets it, "if I'd just put my foot down a bit in a couple of those rounds..."

Were they to meet again I'd favour Galahad to do the job properly and judging by his demeanour last weekend, Josh Warrington agrees with me.

He couldn't defend against galahad and go straight into the Xu fight for the RING belt.

 

Not really.. The proofs in the pudding and for a sold out Leeds arena that does 10,500 for boxing he sold 16 tickets when he fought Warrington and they were to family. Bent nose was probably one of those that's if he isn't Barry himself.
