Bizarre but entertaining as well in a car crash tv way, rightly or wrongly. He looked like he was struggling mentally under the weight of trying to be this brand and successful sportsmen, and maybe he was a bit gone off exhaustion and blows my on the head. As he came across like someone off their Barnet kicking off in a boozer. Wasn’t great and sure he’ll regret it, took away the momeant from usyk. This is heavyweight boxing though. It has always had bizarre, mad, contradictory and flawed characters. All this he’s a scumbag etc well over the top imo. We’ve all forgiven mike Tyson for raping birds, battering people etc etc so well forgive Joshua’s bizarre end of fight behaviour, or should do. He’s not the worst fella in the world, just acted like a turnip last night. For the next ppv just throw Joshua, fury, dillian and delboy in a villa with loads of ale and Charlie and watch them go on one. Anyway that’s my Joshua style nonsensical rant take on the situation
I'd had a few beers last night but just saw it again and had forgot all about the 'hip hip hooray' bit. I actually think he may have been concussed after all lol.
Nothing was normal that he did last night, and even the biggest **** knows when to hide things and not act out so it has to be some sort mental thing.
He was just really angry and really frustrated, and that was the outcome Why does it always come down to ooooooo mental health Mental health is one of the worst things society has brought up tbh. Its the great excuser of all actions, the great get out clause. Everything isnt mental health related, you get punched up infront of the world after trying so so hard to win, against a much smaller man, realising you cant beat him and your belts are gone and theyre not coming back. This obviously leads anyone to sadness, anger, frustration etc and with all those very normal emotions hitting him at once, he couldnt keep up his usual persona of stay humble champ etc and instead had a big kick off in the ring, threw the belts, stormed off, come back, and then gave another of his insane speeches. He gives weird speeches anytime hes interviewed on IFL, this was just another one but x100 because he was very hyped up
Mate, I think Joshua is one fake ass **** But if you think being this media darling and Mr Humble act, trying and failing to be intelligent, chess playing, all the fabricated stuff which goes against his every natural instinct hasn't had a lasting effect on Joshua then you just don't get it. It exploded out of him last night, pressure doesn't get to people (well not as much) to people who can live freely and be themselves. Not gonna get too into this mental health is one of the worst things society has brought up thing you wrote, like come on brother, is suicide a new thing ? It's not an excuser of actions, you'll find that anyone who has acted out under pressure or done things out of character when not well are encouraged to own that behaviour, it is a reason for these behaviours though, the sooner people realise this, the better.
I couldn't hear Joshua's post fight speech as the pub was noisy, but, just from looking at it it looked bad. I'd have thought this was Usyk's moment, not Joshua's.
I don't get these excuses tbh AJ was absolutely raging before getting hold of the mic. He was perfectly fine all the way up until Usyk got announced as winner, then he had his massive kick off has to be held back by his team, throws the belts, storms off etc all before even getting hold of a mic. If he would have been announced as winner, I guarantee we would have seen Mr humble on the mic no problems. Therefore it's not mental health related, it's attitude related, character related No one is talking about suicide related issues, that clearly is mental health and needs to be taken very seriously. I'm.talking about stuff like this with A.J, outbursts like this. All the plebs just go oooooo it's mental health. No, no it isn't. Stop using it as an excuse for shitty behaviour
Eddie has made IFL remove the video lol They are controlling what they can, and getting rid of the evidence they are able to. Damage control PR full steam ahead
I'm not sure you can compare him to other spiteful characters like Tyson etc. Like Whyte says in the video Joshua is just a proper weird fella and has repressed his real identity for years and now his heads all jumbled up. He reminds me of Homelander from The Boys.
I agree, he comes across as a nice fella and spoke a lot of sense, I hope he gets more gigs presenting, worlds apart from clowns like Bellew.
This content is protected AJ fought well last night then ruined it by acting like a petulant bellend.
