A non boxing fan watched that and immediately said ‘How is this fair! One guy looks like a giant, a monster against a little child! He should beat him straight away….easy!’

He couldn’t impose himself even when Usyk was there for the taking in the 9th.

(Nigel Benn or Eubank Sr would’ve ended it violently in the 9th.)

Various papers tomorrow are reporting Joshua cannot remember his rant and was likely concussed.

Just watched the end back. AJ was acting strange before the scorecards were read out.

 

The doctors and the corner should have their licenses suspended for not getting him medical attention if he had a concussion.

 

I don't buy concussion or anything like that as an excuse. Have you people not been watching AJ since he became world champion? He's given a stupid post fight speech after most of his fights. As has been pointed out by another poster, he can't answer simple questions without trying and failing miserably to sound wise and philosophical.

The man is extremely weak mentally. We seen it in America against Ruiz. If you look closely at his body language he often looks awkward and he looked like he didn't want to be there last night BEFORE the fight.

I think he suffers badly with anxiety. You can see it in his eyes. No shame in that, I suffered badly with anxiety myself when I drank and did drugs. However, anxiety is no excuse for disrespect, idiocy, ego and selfishness.

 

Did he not turn out too have concussion after the first Ruiz fight?

 

He probably did. I used the Ruiz post fight speech as an example because it's one of the more memorable ones. But I've been cringing at all his post fight speeches since he became champion. The man is clearly unintelligent and doesn't talk a good talk but tries to educate the masses post fight with 'wisdom' and 'philosophy'. Oh and hip hip hoorays.

 

Whether he did or didn't, this would be one of the first things you tell the press as part of damage control.

Absolute bollocks. I’ve had concussion before and I just wanted to lay down - not run round an arena, giving speeches out and leading a chorus of hip hip hooray.
